WinOnX 64 App Reviews

IT never worked, on mavericks/Yosemite or evenn el capitan… It always crash or says it can’t open the file, one of the most useless app ever ! 4$ wasted, how can people cant work on this properly ?

Just bought this program in order to run some PC .exe files, yet none of them is working. Waste of money !!!!

this product doesn’t really work I never could get any Win OS app running in that terminal

Bought it to run Sony Vegas Pro 10, and it couldnt do it. 5 bucks down the drain.

Ive tried several windows apps and it never even installed. tried to close and relaunched it and still didnt work.

Very weak product, as far as commercial releases go. The idea is wonderful but the practical application sadly doesnt even warrant a 5$ fee. I truly hope the developers behind WinOnX get their act together because this particular product is a wonderful idea... waiting to happen!

This app is so crummy. I cant believe that Apple allowed this guy to steal my $5 from me and then took a 30% cut from him. Unbelievable. OK, so I should have read the reviews before I bought and installed it, but I thought that Apple were going to ensure that only quality apps got in their store. Well, apparently thats not the case. Please...everyone...READ the reviews on each app BEFORE you buy it. I might as well have used the five-dollars to blow my nose, because I would have gotten more out of it. Jerks!

This is an excellent utility. I use it to run firefox and Internet Download Manager (IDM) since it is my favorite download manager on Windows. Of course, it can be improved. We need things like full screen and support for more applications. I have parallels installed on my macbook air. But, with this utility, I do not have to run WIndows in order to use simple programs like IDM and paint on MAC. So, it depends on your needs! I usually do not have time to write reviews. But, for this little program, please keep improving it because I really need it.

Five bucks to use my old legacy windows apps inside OSX instead of firing up the Windows virtual machine? Count me in! Look elsewhere if you want to play your gpu-heavy PC games (however, what are you thinking trying to virtualize a 3d game??).

Useless application: does not do what it is supposed to do. No help either to make it work...

I just bought this application. Its useless. Dont buy it. If you could find another one, try that one. This one doest work at all

this is a great idea on how to use WINE in OSX but like the reviews before here is mine ;p wouldnt install Movica an MSI installer application from 2008 error Error reorg menu: /Users/username/Library/WinOnX/Movica: *** -[__NSCFString rangeOfString:options:range:locale:]: Range or index out of bounds latest version of firefox was wonky after install couldnt close a window had to kill it and try again window resizing messed the window up then useless ;p for kicks i installed vlc just to see, which installed fine but playing an mkv no good ;p btw little snitch users, be prepared to get pop ups for everything ;p movavi splitmovie installed but wont run errors ;( i shall continue the game to find something that runs on this software ;)

I wasted my money. It was unable to run an accounting software based on Windows XP! Bootcamp + Windows license seem to be necessary.

Tried to use a simple windows app, same errors as everyone else.. doesnt work, wasted 5 bucks, should have a return money option!

Tried it to run two simple applications. None of them worked. One required .NET and the WinOnX suggested that I install something called Mono. Still didnt work. We really should have the option of canceling a sale after a few minutes.
